When a potential client asks ChatGPT "best HVAC company near me" or "who should I call for a dental implant in Boca Raton," they're not going to Google next. AI gives them 2–3 names. Industry Deep-Dives
Between September and November 2026, we selected 15–20 businesses per industry across Palm Beach County, Broward County, and Miami-Dade County. We used Google Maps, Yelp, and local directory searches to identify actively operating businesses with a web presence.
For each business, we asked ChatGPT-4o, Google Gemini, and Google AI Overviews 4–6 location-specific queries a customer would realistically type: "best [service] near [city]", "[service] in [city/county]", and "who should I call for [service] in [area]". A business was classified as "invisible" if it did not appear in any AI response across any of those queries. A business was classified as "visible" if it appeared in at least one response.
CPC figures reflect Google Ads keyword auction data for the South Florida market. Job value figures are based on industry averages and do not represent any individual business's revenue.
